Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte

“He dashed his head against the knotted trunk; and, lifting up his eyes, howled, not like a man, but like a savage beast getting goaded to death with knives and spears.” -Emily Bronte

I recently finished reading Wuthering Heights for the first time. It came highly recommended by two of my family members. I’m still deciding on how much I liked this book. I didn’t quite love it, but I definitely want to read it again sometime in the future. I think this is one of those books that each time you read it you will find something new. I must warn you, if you haven’t heard of this book, it is tragic, dark and frustrating. Not everything ends in roses and rainbows. I give it 4 out of 5.
